College organized an expert talk on "Network & Cyber Security"
on 10th January 2025. The speech was delivered by Mr. Dilip
Prajapati, Director (CFO) and alumni of BCA , and Mr. Arvind Prajapati, Director (CTO)
of North Point Service - Palanpur.
The
session provided valuable insights on various topics, including: Overview of
Networking, Importance of Cybersecurity, Key Cybersecurity Concepts, Types of
Cyber Attacks, Tools and Technologies in Cybersecurity, Network Security
Measures, Challenges in Cybersecurity.
The talk
aimed at educating attendees on understanding and addressing the evolving
landscape of cyber threats, with a particular focus on network security
practices and technologies.
Additionally,
the seminar helped students understand the competitive landscape of the IT
industry, the key technologies involved, and the challenges and opportunities
ahead. It was beneficial for attendees, particularly students, by providing a
comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity and networking, along with the
latest industry trends.
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
