Industrial Visit has arranged by Smt. B. K. Mehta IT Centre BCA
College for the SEM – VI & SEM - IV
students on 20th December 2024 at Odoo –Infocity Gandhinagar.
With an objective
of providing students with a practical understanding of how
ERP systems function in a real-world environment. The primary aim was to expose
students to the operations and culture of a leading ERP software company, Odoo,
and to understand its innovative approach to software development, and customer
services. The Number of Students 59 and
Faculty Members 5 were visited the company under the guidance of principal of
the college. The company presentation has been delivered by Mr. Shardul Dave
Marketing HR Manager at Odoo. He has presented Introduction to Odoo,Brief company
history and mission,Overview of products and services,Office Tour, Exploring
the workplace environment,Interaction with various departmental teams,Technical
Session,demonstration of Odoo’s ERP system and Q&A Session by addressing
students’ queries related to ERP systems and career opportunities.
By this visit students has learnt many Key points like ERP
Systems Functionality,Open-Source Development, Work Culture at Odoo, Technical
Insights, Career Opportunities
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
