Smt. B.K. Mehta IT Centre BCA College, Palanpur held an orientation program for the First Year Students (Batch 2025–2026) on 21st July 2025. The event included Welcome Speech by the Principal – Dr. Namrata Gupta. Insightful speeches - Motivational Address by the Campus Academic Director – Dr. Amit K. Parikh. Faculty introductions, and discussions on NEP-based curriculums peech given by Dr. N.S. Patel. CDAC courses, and discipline speech given by faculty member Mr. S.C. Malav . Motivational Talks shared by Former Assistant Professor Mr. Divyang B. Shah and Alumni Mr. Harsh Parmar. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri. P.V.Ami and set a positive start for the academic journey ahead. The orientation program provided students with guidance, motivation, and clarity about their upcoming educational experience and helped foster a sense of belonging and enthusiasm among the newcomers.
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
