Smt. B. K. Mehta IT Centre BCA College Managed by Banaskantha District Kelavani Mandal
A group of students from Shri Vinay Vidhya Mandir – Thara, Dist. Banaskantha visited, Smt. B.K. Mehta IT Centre BCA College, Palanpur, as part of an vocational education tour on 26th March 2025. to gain exposure to higher education. The students, accompanied by their teachers, arrived at BCA college. They were warmly welcomed by the college faculty and an introductory session was held which highlighting the importance of higher education and the various opportunities available in IT field. In this session, students asked questions and shared their thoughts. They interacted with BCA faculty and students, and attended informative sessions. The visit inspired students to consider future academic opportunities. Feedback from students and teachers was positive, and the experience was deemed valuable.
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
