Inter-Class Debate Competition

On 24th September 2026, Shreemati B. K. Mehta BCA College, Palanpur, in joint collaboration with the Nature Club, R. R. Mehta College of Science and C. L. Parikh College of Commerce, organized an Inter-Class Debate Competition at the Central Seminar Hall. Conducted under the IQAC and Literary & Debate Committee, the event aimed to sharpen students' critical thinking, public speaking eloquence, and rebuttal capabilities.

The competition engaged undergraduate cohorts across two specialized themes:

BCA Semester-1 (Bhartiya Sanskruti): Debaters examined the impact of social media and westernization on Indian values, alongside the relevance of ancient science and Ayurveda in combating lifestyle diseases.

BCA Semester-3 (Environment Conservation): Participants deliberated whether rapid economic expansion conflicts with environmental preservation and explored the growing carbon footprint associated with artificial intelligence.

The evaluation bench was graced by esteemed judges Dr. Natvarbhai Patel and Shree Sagar Nai, who assessed participants on logic, content depth, rebuttal agility, elocution, and stage decorum.

Under the leadership of Convener Dr. Dhruv Pandya and Patron Principal Dr. Namrata Gupta, the event witnessed vibrant student participation, providing a platform to nurture articulate orators and socially responsible technocrats.
