Smt. B.K. Mehta IT Centre BCA College, Palanpur organized an Orientation Program for the First Year Students (Batch 2026–2027) on 9th July 2026. The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Namrata S. Gupta. This was followed by an introduction of the faculty members and a detailed overview of the National Education Policy (NEP)-based BCA curriculum by Shri. P. V. Ami, Assistant Professor. Subsequently, Dr. N. S. Patel, Assistant Professor, delivered an informative session on the BCA programme, career opportunities, college discipline, and the responsibilities of students. During the programme, the inspiring addresses delivered by the faculty members served as a great source of motivation for the newly admitted students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Hardika Thakkar, Assistant Professor. The orientation programme provided students with valuable guidance, motivation, and a clear understanding of their academic journey. college experience.
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
