The seminar “Hackathon Kickstart – Code, Create & Compete” was successfully organized on 22nd April 2026 at Smt. B.K. Mehta IT Centre (BCA College) under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of AICTE.
The event was conducted by IIC student council members Meet Modh, Deepak Gauswami, Rajvi Kaur and Syad Zainab under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Namrata S. Gupta and IIC convenor Hardika Thakkar.
The session aimed to familiarize students with the concept, structure, practical insights and benefits of hackathons. Participants were introduced to various stages, including idea generation, team formation, and project development. The speakers highlighted the importance of innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork. The session encouraged students to think creatively and build technology-driven solutions. Overall, the seminar proved to be informative and inspiring, motivating students to take their first step into the world of hackathons.
Current times are undoubtedly predominated by computerisation in all fields. In order to keep pace with this computer age, the Vardhman Computer Centre was started under the auspices of the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, which runs a course for certification in computing.
