Workshop on ‘Campus Resources and its Eco-friendly Management’

Smt. B. K. Mehta BCA College, Palanpur organized a special workshop on "Campus Resources and its Eco-friendly Management" on 17th September 2026, from 9:45 AM to 11:10 AM. 

Dr. Dhruv Pandya graced the occasion as the keynote speaker and trainer. Addressing the students, he emphasized that curbing resource wastage on the college campus is the moral responsibility of every student. He provided detailed and practical guidance on critical issues such as electricity wastage caused by lights and fans left on in empty classrooms, water loss from running taps, and systematic solid waste management across the campus grounds. 

Following the lecture, more than 70 students from BCA Semester-3 actively participated in an on-ground campus cleanliness and auditing drive. The students collected and properly disposed of scattered litter across the premises and set a commendable example of resource conservation by turning off unnecessary electrical appliances in vacant lecture halls. 

In the valedictory session, Dr. Natvarbhai Patel remained present to encourage the students for their commendable efforts and offered his heartfelt blessings. College Principal Dr. Namrata Gupta extended her best wishes, patronage, and inspiring support for the organization of the event.

The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college worked untiringly and extended full cooperation to make the event a resounding success. This initiative successfully instilled heightened environmental responsibility and awareness among the participating students regarding campus assets.
